*Cue dramatic music*
The western end of Elsir Vale has been greatly troubled in recent days. The threat of orc hordes from beyond the Stonehome Mountains, though turned back at Bordrin's Watch still lingers in the people's minds. Peculiar and hostile creatures of shadow lurk in the caverns and caves below. Political squabbling grows among the city's powerful dwarf clans, especially in the face of Bram Ironfell's treachery. Word of Hobgoblin and Gnoll attacks to the east are a further cause for concern. And now, as the city mobilizes for war, the most powerful spellcaster residing in the city, as feared as he was, departs without a word, for locations unknown.
Four heroes from the East may be the city's best hope... or only hope.
*dramatic music ends*
February 6 is my target for the next Scales of War. I think we will be alternating weeks with Rise of the Runelords in general; Jenling, let me know what you think on that front.
Characters start at level 9. Heroic tier is coming to a close. Time to up the ante.

Alright, so I believe a TBS Board Day has been scheduled for this day. I don't know how long it's going to go, but until otherwise specified, let's aim for starting just after it ends... kind of like what we're doing with Runelords this week.
Cheers.

Alright, put this in stone (barring Clusterf&$#s).
We'll start "after Board Day" on Feb 6 which I'm estimating for about 3pm and going until we're bored (pun?). We'll play at Neal and Jen's place (assuming they don't mind).
Post if you got issues.

I have issues! Rachel has issues too. She just told me, but I think we all knew it already. None of our issues are with the time though.

I thought so. But I have issues, so don't take my word for it.

I wouldn't say they were outstanding...they prefer to sit inside.

Ah, you are my best friends, all of you. It's good to know I can count on you all to make a bad joke worse.

I have a Kappa Kappa Pounds Per Square Inch meeting at 8. Is this going to be okay or will my departure throw a wrench into things?

We'll need a break around then for dinner anyway, so someone can run you home during that. Since you aren't an official player per se, I see no reason why we can't continue without you (no offense)
Oh, and Kappa Kappa Pounds Per Square Inch was hilarious.
