I'm posting all the character creation rules, basic world info, etc. here for easy access. Specific lore and such will be in separate threads.
Known class/race interest:
Gersh: wind/water genasi barbarian
Jenling: deva avenger
Gato: warlock
Rachael: kobold tempest fighter
Zach: minotaur warlord
Starting level is 12, be prepared to reach level 13.
Your adventure hook: all of you have recently died and are awaiting judgement in the afterlife. However, the gods are bored, and have a different idea about your posthumous fates.
Pantheon is core, if you are a divine class, I need to know your diety.
Races:
Humans, halflings, elves, eladrin, half-elves, dwarves, gnomes, half-orcs, orcs, shadar-kai, revenants and anything detailed in MM2 are not PC options.
Devas are the mechanical representation of aasimar, the angelic, blessed by Pelor equivilent of tieflings.
Kalashtar are the mechanical representation of a half aasimar, half tiefling. They look like an odd mix of the two and are very prone to insanity due to the mixing of the different magics. More info in the lore.
Tieflings know supernal instead of choosing a second language
Gnolls may substitute their +2 intimidate bonus for a +2 nature bonus
Genasi may only choose from the manifestations in the FRPHB, earthsoul, firesoul, stormsoul, watersoul, and windsoul.
Bugbears do not get oversized, instead they get all half-orc racial features except furious assault.
Githyanki also have +2 to arcana
Goblins also have Nimble Reaction (halfling)
Hobgoblins also have Running Charge (orc)
Kobolds have proficiency with simple and military picks and may roll on the kobold victory table once during a round when they reduce a creature to 0 hitpoints
Dragonborn, shifters, goliaths, minotaurs, changelings, warforged, drow, githzerai, and wilden are both as written and as described.
All classes are permitted. All feats (exept setting specific ones like dragonmarks), powers, etc. are permitted.
Itemization: going to try out the inherent bonus system
You start with gold equal to the cost of an item of your level.
You do not start with any free magic items.
If you want set items, divine boons, or anything similar, ask.
Enchant magic item, disenchant magic item, and transfer enchantment do not exist. Making magic items in this setting is very complicated, time consuming, and requires specialized equipment the PCs most likely don't have access to.
