As the mortals perceive it, the dieties are pretty much the same as core, though some favor different races due to their core favored race not existing. In reality, the gods have the approximate maturity level of teenagers, and spend their days partying and gambling on how mortals will react to different situations. It's like how the greeks and romans have the same pantheon, but while the romans portray them very idealized, the greeks portray them with more human-like qualities. Age does not always equal wisdom. I will also list their alignments via the 3-axis system.
Avandra, ChaoticGoodFunky: A tree-hugging hippie with a love of games of chance, Avandra mostly wants to kick back and have a good time. Her chosen people are none other than the Kobolds, who she thinks are increadibly entertaining.
Bahamut, LawfulGoodSquare: The belaguered leader of metalic dragons is still rather put out by the crushing defeat suffered at the hands of the turathi. It does not help that his twin sister, Tiamat, has no intentions of letting him live it down. Has a major stick up his ass.
Corellon, NeutralNeutralFunky: The long haired pretty-boy has gotten kind of whiny since the eladrin retreated to the feywild, though he retains his love of art and music.
Erathis, LawfulNeutralNeutral: The team mom, Erathis typically hosts their parties and makes delicious refreshments. Often gets into city vs. wilderness debates with Melora, but otherwise one of the more mature gods.
Ioun, TrueTrueNeutral: A total geek, the others keep her around for her unparalleled ability to figure the odds. Doesn't make it very easy for them to understand her, though. Too much arcanebabble. She never actually participates, but uses it as an opportunity to glean more knowledge.
Kord, ChaoticNeutralFunky: Like OotS's portrayal of Thor, Kord is a wild fighter who loves to party. His favored people are stormsoul genasi and minotaurs, and he particularly enjoys watching a good fight.
Melora, ChaoticNeutralSquare: The one who keeps everyone in line, especially Asmodeus. Her favored form is a more feline razorclaw shifter, and she doesn't take crap from anyone. Often results in catfights with Tiamat.
Moradin, LawfulGoodNeutral: With the dwarves gone, Moradin has come to favor the warforged, particulary the ones who now work as craftsmen. Tends to go around in a suit of fullplate. Doesn't get invited to parties much because he makes too much noise.
Pelor, NeutralGoodNeutral: A naive goody-two-shoes, Pelor is responsible for supplying the food for Erathis to cook. He really hates undead, and always roots for his aasimar.
Raven Queen, NeutralNeutralSquare: Cold as the winter she rules, the Raven Queen is really only invited because a lot of the entertainment involves having mortals attempt absurd challenges in exchange for a chance to cheat death. The only one who doesn't seem to be having a good time.
Sehanine, ChaoticNeutralNeutral: Patron of changelings and a master illusionist, she gains great delight from pranks and deception. She and Corellon are together.
Asmodeus, LawfulEvilFunky: The lord of the Nine Hells is also a huge pimp, though Melora won't let him bring his succubi to the parties. He does have a goatee, and fears nothing more than an angry Melora.
Bane, LawfulEvilSquare: The patron of hobgoblins does not usually join the others, prefering his wargames instead. Would very much like to see a full war break out again.
Gruumsh, ChaoticEvilFunky: Having intelligence on the level of Thog, Gruumsh takes great pleasure in the simple joys of running, killing, and eating. Though disappointed the orcs are no more, he has since taken a shine to the gnolls for their feral tendancies, and also because...PUPPIES!
Lolth, ChaoticEvilSquare: Really annoyed since not only did the drow give her the finger, the other gods won't let her come to their parties. Yes she's crazy and no fun. She still want's revenge.
Tharzidun, ChaoticEvilNeutral: He was chained in the abyss when he tried to destroy the multiverse. The key, a stone known as Ragnarok, was hidden and guarded through the combined effort of all the gods. If he gets out, he is deranged and vengeful. Divine blood will spill.
Tiamat, NeutralEvilFunky: A spoiled brat, Tiamat loves money and antagonizing her twin brother Bahamut more than anything else. Has a pact with the Githyanki to provide them with dragon mounts.
Torog, NeutralEvilSquare: His obsession with torture and pain makes the others view him as rather creepy, so he doesn't get invited to their parties. Not like he cares.
Vecna, NeutralEvilNeutral: The lich smells funny and is not very pleasent to look at, so no one really likes him. He would love to get revenge, if Ioun and Pelor's powers didn't completely cancel his.
Zehir, NeutralEvilNeutral: Though he favors his yuan-ti above all else, he has also taken a shine to the drow. They even pay him slight homage. Doesn't really care for parties, too much light. No one trusts him anyways.
Avandra, ChaoticGoodFunky: A tree-hugging hippie with a love of games of chance, Avandra mostly wants to kick back and have a good time. Her chosen people are none other than the Kobolds, who she thinks are increadibly entertaining.
