Darn I was hoping for a Striker since they still haven't fixed Avengers

I disagree. I believe none of the classes need to be "fixed," you just need to find a way to make them work for you. Or it may require changing the way you view the class in terms of combat/rp/ect.

Avengers are considered by pretty much all to be too situational (when it comes to their bonus damage) when compared to every other striker in existence. I agree with that. No matter what style or class feature you choose, you're often times stuck going through an entire encounter without ever gaining your bonus damage which I believe is a flaw in the game mechanics.

Yeah, their bonus damage is situational all the way around. But two things:
1-They don't miss. Ever. 2-Censure of Unity is a bit of a "fix" for this but only for Int-based Avengers. I have a feeling Divine Power 2 will have a better Censure for DexVengers
My first version of Fate was a Pursuit Avenger. My problem wasn't that the class was ineffective. Far from it. I just hated playing the character, so Fate is now a Paladin. *shrug*
