Its seems that we may not be able to have a session for a while (as in until November 2nd or until next semester if anyone is in Boiler Brass) on Tuesdays, b/c of conflicts (chapter meetings, rush functions, and possibly Men's B-Ball).
If there is another time that y'all can meet for sessions, please let me know. Otherwise, the next session is tentatively in 3 weeks, November 2nd @ 7:30PM

Hey all,
After much schedule wrangling, it has finally been determined that the next session will be tomorrow (Monday, October 25th) at 7PM. The party may or may not level during this session, but will definitely at the end; so have a vague idea of what you want. Also think of a level 2 magic item you would want, as you will be receiving that item as a quest reward. Please let me know of there any questions or concerns.

If possible, I would like to have another session this upcoming monday (November 8th) at 7 PM. Please let me know of conflicts so we can reschedule appropriately. Regardless, here are some details that will occur when the next session arrives (monday or otherwise): -As a reward for rescuing the three princesses from the raid on the Castle, the party will recieve xp sufficient to bring you all up to level 5. Additionally, each member will recieve one level 5 magic item of their choice and 1000 gp-worth of whatever you like (to update armor/weapons/whatever, any "left-over" gp is given to you as precious gems worth that much). I would like the party to be leveled and ready when we start, so I will be available from 6:00-7PM that at my apartment if you need assistance. -Think about what you guys want to do next, as you are all at a point in the campaign where you can go in 5 different directions (which makes it hard for me to plan in advance). I'll open another thread where I can refresh y'all on what you already know and where you can discuss options. If I don't have a firm decision, railroading of plot may occur -Since you all are level 5, you now have a better grasp on your talents/racial abilities: +Angela: +2 to athletics/acro checks to fly, +2 to nature checks to identify flora/fauna, ability (as an encounter power, minor action) to change your spirit companion's size by 1 (S/M to either tiny or large, granting +2AC/-1AB or -1AC/+2AB respectively for spirit) until end of your next turn. +Ben: +2 to athletics checks, +2 initiative, ability (as an encounter power, immediate reaction) to change to Ogre form until the end of the encounter when first bloodied. +Gersh: +2 to intimidate checks, ability (as an encounter power, minor action) to attempt a d20 check to switch between human and dragon form (DC 15) +Jeremy: +2 to dungeoneering checks, +2 to saving throws versus a "save-ends" magical effect, ability (as a daily power, immediate reaction) to have any ally/you take 1/2 damage from one attack/power and have the attacker take the other 1/2. +Rachael: +2 to arcana checks, resist 5 versus damage similar to current form (air = lightning/thunder, earth = acid, water = cold, fire = duh, void = necrotic, human = psychic), ability (as a daily power, minor action) to add "push 1 square" to the effects of all attack powers you use until the end of the encounter. +Zach: +2 to acrobatics checks, +2AC versus enemies granting you combat advantage, ability (as a daily power, minor action, stance) to gain any numerical bonuses (AB, AC, saves, ect) that any ally or enemy adjacent to you receives until the end of the encounter. I shall definitely need your assistance in the leveling process, as I do not speak 4th Edition. A pickup at Elliot or something after I snag a quick dinner would be nice, and that would give sufficient time to level i would think.
And don't /I/ feel left out. /I/ don't get any shiny new abilities. =P [Joking with you of course.]

Next Session is Tuesday November 30th @ 7PM, during the TBS Indoor Games function in Elliott Rm 30. This will just be a side quest (you don't have to be there the whole time, if you want to play other games during the event), with open spots for people at the function to join in if they'd like.
I would like the following session to be Monday December 6th @ 7PM, so that we can actually move along in the story line. If this is a scheduling issue, please let me know.

Hey all,
I hope that your winter break/holidays went well! If possible, I would like to start up regular sessions again for this semester. As of right now, Mondays around 7PM still work for me; let me know if your schedules don't work out with it. If we happen to really want to play a game this week, I'd totally be up for that too ^_^. As always, let me know if there are any questions or concerns.
Additionally, I will need Jeremy and Rachael to meet with me 15-30 minutes before the next session to RP your capture by the goblin forces. Kthxbai.

Ok, gathering from a general consensus Saturdays seem to work (with enough notice). So thus, I am tentatively scheduling the first session for the following Saturday, January 29th around 6 PM (as I understand there is a men's game at 1PM); barring any major objections.
Additionally, because I would REALLY like to play a game before then as well, I would be willing to host a related one-shot on Wednesday evening (26th, the 19th is another mens game) if there is enough interest.
Finally, if anyone knows anyone who would like to join in on the campaign, I believe I would not be remiss for more people. I believe our number has been reduced to 5, so 1-2 new people would be good for me. Please have them contact me at seoshea@purdue.edu or have them post on the forums.

Next session is February 7th at 7PM (ironic, no?). The party will be leveling up to 10, so please prepare your characters appropriately BEFOREHAND. Let me know if you need help leveling your character. Quest reward for the goblins will be 1 level 10 item, 1 level 9 item and 3000 gp to spend as you wish. No set items or artifacts (though if you eventually want one, let me know).
Character specific bonuses for reaching level 10: -Ben: +2 intimidate, -2 diplomacy. Change trigger for switching to ogre form (when bloodied) to "immediate reaction, when attacked by an enemy." -Gersh: +1 speed in human form, +1 AC in dragon form. Remove DC 15 necessary for change to dragon form, fails if a result of 1 occurs. -Jeremy: +2 stealth/acrobatics, ability (immediate reaction, daily): "Balanced Healing," when you/ally is targeted by a healing power, reduce the amount healed via this power by 1/2. You and all allies in the party are healed that amount instead. If that power granted additional effects beyond restoring HP, that effect is also applied to you and all members in the party. -Zach: +2 acrobatics, +2 speed, ability (immediate reaction, encounter): "Tiger's Insight," when you make an attack with an encounter or daily power and miss, reroll the attack and add [DEX MOD] to the result. -Rachael: +2 to saving throws, +2 to checks used in rituals. ability (immediate reaction, daily): "Arcane Catalyst," during an extended rest, select any one at-will or encounter power you have prepared that targets at least one enemy. When an enemy hits you with a melee or ranged attack that targets only you, you may immediately use and expend the selected power against that enemy. Immediately after using that power, roll 1d6 to change elemental form. -Darin:+2 nature, +2 arcana, ability (standard, daily): "Furious Wave," make the following attack one time for each body of water within direct line of sight (including spirit companion): close burst [WIS MOD] from edge of water, wisdom versus fortitude against enemies in blast, hit = [wis mod] damage + prone + slide to edge of burst. All allies in burst gain [wis mod] temporary HP. If there are multiple bodies of water utilized, attacks/dmg are resolved sequentially. The damage and temporary HP from this power stacks.
I hope you find these bonuses to your liking. Please let me know if you have any further questions or comments.
